About

Before I dive into what I am all about, I want to thank you for coming to this page! You are important to me. Whether we’ve met, we’ve shaken hands, (or bumped elbows/virtual hugged in this season of pandemics). Maybe I ran into you at the grocery store, a restaurant, or a friend’s backyard. Maybe you simply stumbled upon my blog. No matter the path that got you here, please know that I am so happy you are here. I hope you are having a day full of sunshine, laughter and happiness.

Now here is where I tell you about me. My name is Erin Turner,  I have been married to my husband, Rick, for a little over 7 wonderful years! We have 4 hilarious and, in my opinion, beautiful children. My Dick and I, (you will find me calling my husband that quite often… because Richard…), fell in love with a sweet, little piece of land on the edge of country living and the suburbs of Cleveland. We built our dream house and have been working on making it our dream home ever since.

This is our story. The chaos of having 4 kids in under 6 years. A dog. And a tortoise. And we have been through a few fish. We have a ginormous vegetable garden. I have recently developed an addiction to plants. And I have always had an addiction to wine, cussing, laughing and God. We have done so much in such a small amount of time. Yet, there is SO MUCH to do. I will share DIYs, funny antics and sometimes the downright gritty truth of life and marriage.

By trade, I am a hairdresser. Besides keeping my clients feeling as radiant as they are, I LOVE hearing their stories. I LOVE relating to other women. I LOVE making people laugh and I LOVE being laughed at. I live for hearing about all of the different family traditions, sharing my own traditions and walking through life with all kinds of people.

I hope that you find hope, laughter and new ideas here. Hope that if my crazy family can get through anything, so can you. Laughter at my family’s expense just to see you smile. And new ideas on perspective, home projects and how to turn your house into a home.

God bless, ya’ll!]

Love, Erin
